Taylor Swift’s passionate reaction caught on cameras by ESPN

Add The New York Post on Google The ESPN camera crew was all over Taylor Swift again to kick off the 2026 NFL season, and fans were treated to viral reactions.

One in particular stood out during the Chiefs-Broncos “Monday Night Football” game that sparked debate among fans with husband Travis Kelce in action.

In the clip, the camera flashed from Kelce to Swift, who started to passionately yell and some speculated she was upset at the broadcast camera being on her, yelling “Don’t show me! Get off me!”

“He’s always open. Always open. Get off him,” a fan on X countered.

“she’s saying, ‘Oh, he’s open! Oh, he’s open!'” another added.

“that is not what she said. she is looking at a television in the white and seeing a replay. she is saying he is open get off of him,” a third commented.

“Oh he’s open, oh he’s open, get off him,” another speculated.

Since Swift has been figure of the NFL starting in 2023 when she was linked to the three-time Super Bowl tight end, there has been a complicated relationship between the mega popstar, the league broadcasts and football fans.

Some fans quickly grew tired of the frequent camera shots to her during a game. Others have defended Swift, arguing it’s more on the NFL broadcasters for chasing her down constantly for clips and game reactions.

For the home opener at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift was seen in a suite talking to Tom Cruise while wearing a red checkered dress. It was her first Chiefs game since marrying Kelce on July 3 at Madison Square Garden.

She was also seen in a pre-recorded clip during the Emmy’s on Monday night, which included several references to Kelce.

In the Chiefs’ dominant 31-10 win over Denver, Kelce caught three passes for a game-high 71 receiving yards.

The 36-year-old’s highlight play came in the third quarter when he made a crucial catch on third down just inside the first down marker. As a Broncos defender missed the tackle, Kelce had an open field and ran for 59 yards to move the Chiefs to the Broncos’ 4-yard line.

The broadcast immediately cut to Kelce’s box, where Swift could be seen jumping up and down alongside her mom, Donna Kelce and Jason Kelce.

With that, he surpassed former Cowboys tight end Jason Witten (13,046) and is only behind former Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez (15,127 yards) as he chases down the top of the all-time list in what is likely his last year in the NFL.
