Shailene Woodley laughs off question about ex Aaron Rodgers after NFL star’s scathing comments

All Shailene Woodley had to offer was a giggle when asked about her ex Aaron Rodgers, who recently made scathing accusations against her and even took credit for her fame.

“Any comment on Aaron Rodgers? Anything to say about Aaron and what he said?” a reporter asked the actress as she and a friend entered MPTF’s 20th Annual Evening Before in West Hollywood, California, on Sunday.

But all the two women could do was chuckle and smile at the camera as they walked into the event.

Fans in the comments section loved the “Big Little Lies” star’s savage response.

“😂😂😂 Nice try Aaron, she is winninggggg,” one wrote.

“Love that she just laughed it off 👏👏,” another praised her.

A third added, “This is giving her and her bestie heard the interview and died laughing 😂”

Last week, the NFL star claimed Woodley was at the “height of [her] fame” while they were together, during his appearance on the “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward” podcast.

“No one knows what they’re doing,” Rodgers, 42, claimed of his famous exes, including former professional racer Danica Patrick along with Woodley.

“They get clicks when they say my name. Just like the idiots on TV get clicks when they say my name because I am a lightning rod.”

The outlandish claim, notably, came days after the “Fault In Our Stars” actress won her first Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Hulu’s “Paradise.”

Also during his podcast appearance, the quarterback claimed that Woodley, 34, asked to sleep with someone else after accepting his proposal in December 2020.

While reflecting on their relationship, the athlete noted that the “Divergent” star may have “felt like she was forced to make a decision” to get engaged, but “could have said no.”

“She said yes. … A couple days after that she tells me, ‘Before we get married I gotta go f–k this guy,’” Rodgers alleged.

Although he didn’t name the man Woodley allegedly wanted to have relations with, he said she “took off the ring” by March 2021.

He also slammed his ex for talking about him publicly after calling it quits for good in February 2022.

“Move on with your life. Don’t mention me,” he demanded in the interview.

Despite Woodley seemingly being able to laugh off his remarks, those in her circle are reportedly alarmed over Rodgers’ claims.

“We’re questioning why a married dude is bringing up an ex he hasn’t spoken with in over two years,” one source told TMZ on Friday.Rodgers confirmed in June 2025 that he married a woman whom he only has identified as “Brittani.”
