This game really should be can’t-miss football action from Denver and Kansas City. These two teams have been battling each other for many years in the AFC West. Denver got the best of the Chiefs last season as they won both matchups over their rival. In the first game, they won 22-19 at home. The second game saw them take down the Chiefs 20-13.
Both teams have made some changes, but the hopes remain squarely on the shoulders, and arms, of their quarterbacks. Bo Nix is hoping his third season is his best, and that his surgically repaired ankle has no signs of wear. Patrick Mahomes is looking to get back into the postseason and on a path back to another Super Bowl after his ACL and LCL tear.

There are a few corners that quarterbacks think twice about throwing towards. One of those guys is on the field for Denver tonight as Patrick Surtain II lines up across from Patrick Mahomes. He missed a few games last season and only had one interception, but that’s more a reflection of quarterbacks not wanting to target receivers he is guarding than it is a reflection of his skill set.
