Noah Wyle (right) signed with WME two weeks ago -- after he left his longtime agency, Verve, last month. WME’s newest A-list client Noah Wyle of “The Pitt” was spotted at the agency’s pre-Emmys party at Avra in Beverly Hills on Saturday night.
Wyle signed with WME a few weeks ago, after we exclusively reported last month that the “ER” star left agency Verve after two years.
Also spotted at the WME bash — which turned Avra into an immersive garden space ahead of tonight’s Emmys — were nominees and VIPs including: “SNL” guru Lorne Michaels, “Game of Thrones” creator George R.R. Martin, “Widow’s Bay” creator Katie Dippold, “The Pitt” star Katherine LaNasa, “Beef” director Lee Sung Jin, “Bait” star Riz Ahmed, “Hot Ones” host and Emmys presenter Sean Evans, HBO’s chairman and CEO Casey Bloys and head of drama Francesca Orsi, Netflix’s head of scripted series Jinny Howe, president of 20th Television Karey Burke and NBC Entertainment and Peacock’s Pearlena Igbokwe.
WME co-chairs Christian Muirhead and Richard Weitz presided over the affair, along with the agency’s scripted TV co-heads Erin Junkin and Tom Wellington. Overall, the agency’s clients accounted for more than 200 noms this year.
Wyle mingled with his “Pitt” co-star LaNasa while Michaels powwowed with Weitz. Martin and “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” showrunner Ira Parker were hanging with the show’s star Dexter Sol Ansell.
Good Gracious Catering provided a custom olive oil tasting and takeaway swag, including WME-branded olive oil bottles. (We guess agents are known for greasing the wheels a bit!)
Even if you weren’t up for an Emmy, guests could also personalize WME-branded items at a live engraving station, and a custom “video-village” installation allowed guests to capture their own on-camera moments.
Tom Holland’s non-alc brew Bero had a prominent display for those who abstained, while Diageo and Ketel One served up custom cocktails if you imbibed.
Power 106 DJ Justin Credible spun tunes while Pipe Dream events created a custom entrance, while Peony Secret filled the place with fleurs.
