Heroes, zeros from Giants’ win over the Cowboys: Jevon Holland’s interception changed everthing

Add The New York Post on Google Heroes, zeros and the full blitz from the Giants’ 28-20 win over the Cowboys on Sunday:

Jaxson Dart looked every bit like a quarterback who had taken a second-year leap. He played with command and control, orchestrated long scoring drives and finished 23-for-29 for 230 yards and three touchdowns.

New York Giants safety Jevon Holland (8) runs past Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (4) after an interception during the second quarter of their game in East Rutherford, NJ, on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Bill Kostroun for NY Post Zero Cowboys running back Javonte Williams scored a touchdown to pull his team within eight in the fourth quarter, but promptly picked up a taunting penalty that was followed by Brandon Aubrey missing an extra point that amounted to a 48-yard field goal attempt.

Jevón Holland’s interception late in the first half swung all the momentum as the Giants drove down the field to score, then added another touchdown to start the second half.

3: Number of season-opening wins since 2010 — Sunday was the first Week 1 victory at home since then — for the Giants. After the other two wins — 2016 and 2022 — they made the playoffs.
