Add The New York Post on Google When Josh Jacobs pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges this week, the presiding judge signed an order temporarily sealing the evidence in the case, at the running back’s request.
The charges are stemming from an incident in May, when the Packers starter was arrested on multiple charges, including strangulation and suffocation, and battery-domestic abuse of his girlfriend.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the league is “trying all sorts of legal maneuvers” to see the video of the incident, which was recorded by surveillance cameras in Jacobs’ home.
Jacobs is scheduled to meet with the league as part of its review for violating the Personal Conduct Policy.
Jacobs — whose plea deal was for battery and criminal damage to property — will not be permitted to play or practice until he is removed from the commissioner’s exempt list.
