Starrett-Lehigh building reigns supreme as key Fashion Week anchor

A key anchor of Fashion Week, which is now spread out over many Manhattan locations, the RXR-owned landmark was recently or soon will be the site of showings by brands such as Shoppe Object, Brand Assembly and the Affordable Art Fair.

The coming days will have showings by hot-button brand Public School, Tibi, Magda Butrym and 7 for All Mankind.

The Starrett-Lehigh Building recently received major improvements, including the replacement of 5,000 ribbon-style windows. Colin Miller Starrett-Lehigh’s 2.3 million square feet make the 12-story building a horizontal skyscraper. RXR, which bought it in 2011, introduced major improvements including the replacement of 5,000 ribbon-style windows.

Adding to the “cool factor” are two trendy restaurants — Marcus Samuelsson’s ground-floor Hav & Mar and Crew’s roof-deck Yacht Club — and Olly Olly Market.
