After two weeks of competition, the US Open is drawing to a close this weekend. The women’s singles finals kick off on Sept. 12, with current World No. 1 and two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka taking on No. 2 Elena Rybakina.
It’s the tennis stars’ second time facing off in a grand slam this year, as Rybakina defeated Sabalenka at the Australian Open in February. (Regardless of today’s result, she’s set to dethrone Sablenka as No. 1 in the WTA rankings.)
