Add Page Six on Google Aaron Rodgers claimed ex Shailene Woodley was at the “height of [her] fame” when they were together.
“No one knows what they’re doing,” the NFL star said about his exes — which also includes former professional racer Danica Patrick — on Thursday’s episode of the “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward” podcast.
“They get clicks when they say my name,” Rodgers, 42, continued. “Just like the idiots on TV get clicks when they say my name because I am a lightning rod.”
Page Six has reached out to Woodley’s rep for comment.
Rogers’ remarks come just days after Woodley, 34, won her first Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Hulu’s “Paradise.”
“Mom, this is so cool,” she said in her acceptance speech at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday. “I just feel so lucky to do what we do and to be a part of the circus with all of you amazing traveling storytelling clowns.”
Woodley was a well-established actress before she started dating Rodgers in 2020.
She had her breakthrough starring in the ABC Family series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” from 2008 to 2013, which she followed up with the “Divergent” movies and “The Fault in Our Stars.”
Woodley also had a major role in “Big Little Lies,” which aired two season from 2017 to 2019, and earned her an Emmy nomination.

Rodgers and Woodley got engaged in December 2020 after several months of dating, but they called it quits by early 2022.
On Heyward’s podcast, Rogers claimed Woodley asked to sleep with someone else after she accepted his proposal.
“Maybe she felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no,” the athlete said. “But a couple days after that, she tells me, ‘You know, before we get married, I gotta go f*** this guy.’”
Rodgers, who didn’t specify the person Woodley was allegedly referring to, claimed the actress “took off the ring” by March 2021.
“We had a couple of times where we tried to get reunited and nothing ever happened,” he recalled. “There wasn’t even a relationship in 2022 to break off. She literally told me, ‘I don’t want to be with you,’ after we tried some reconciliation in 2021.”
Woodley, for her part, called her split from Rodgers the “darkest, hardest time of [her] life” in a Net-a-Porter sitdown in January 2023.
“My personal life was s–tty, so it felt like a big pain bubble for eight months,” she recalled.
In a 2024 interview with Outside, Woodley said that her relationship with Rodgers was “not right.”
She also discussed a “really awful, traumatic” unspecified incident in early 2022 where she “felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy.”
Woodley dubbed this era “the lowest low of [her] life.”
