Thankfully, there’s still time to stream a few Oscar-nominated favorites before the Academy Awards commence. Bugonia and Hamnet are available on Peacock, Brad Pitt’s F1 is on Apple TV, and Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners are both on HBO Max. So get to streaming because the Oscars are just around the corner!
This year’s Best Picture field is predictably stacked as Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, Sinners, and Train Dreams compete for Oscar gold. A full list of nominees can be found on Decider.
When exactly are the Oscars? From start time to complete streaming info, here’s how to watch the 2026 Academy Awards live online.
Next week! The 2026 Academy Awards air Sunday, March 15, on ABC and Hulu.
Good news, early birds! The Oscars start an hour early this year, with the ceremony beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET.
E! Live from the Red Carpet starts at 4:00 p.m. ET, and On the Red Carpet at the Oscars begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Hulu.
If you have a valid cable login, you can watch the Oscars live on ABC or the ABC app/website. For the first time, the Academy Awards are also streaming live on Hulu.
If you’re new to Hulu, you can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $10.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.
If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu. These bundles start at $12.99/month for ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu and goes up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max, all ad-free.
The only way to watch shows airing live without cable is by using a live TV streaming service. Our favorite is DIRECTV, which comes with a five-day free trial before payment begins.
DIRECTV offers a number of flexible subscription options, including Genre Packs, so you can best choose which streaming plans fit your needs and budget. Plans start at $49.99/month.
You can also watch ABC live or on demand with an active subscription to fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, or Sling TV.
