Beloved Long Island grandmother, 62, was killed by ex-boyfriend – before he’s shot dead by police in different state: cops

Add The New York Post on Google The beloved grandmother found dead at her Long Island home last week was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend – who has since been killed by police, authorities revealed Thursday.

Brandon Hampson was shot dead by cops in Massachusetts on Wednesday night after he charged at them with a knife outside a motel, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

Hampson was wanted for fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend Rachel Frislid, whose butchered body was found by a family member inside her Sayville home last Thursday, cops said.

Frislid, 62, was a grandmother and business owner on the brink of retirement when she was killed.

“A heart of gold. Nicest woman you could have ever met. I don’t understand it,” Eileen Tyznar, president emeritus of the Sayville Chamber of Commerce, previously told CBS.
