Add The California Post on Google It appears the Los Angeles Rams fan base has found its way down under in Australia.
As the clock starts to wind down for the Rams and 49ers early Friday, the 10:35 a.m. (local time) kickoff that will be broadcast live on Netflix at 5:35 p.m. PT, Rams fans are making their presence felt.
Multiple videos have started to pop up on social media of the Los Angeles fan base preparing for kickoff.
NBCLA sports reporter Olivia Garvey posted a video showing the Rams fans tailgating near a boat dock in the early hours of the morning.

JAMES ROSS/EPA/Shutterstock Rams reporter Blain Grisak from Sports Illustrated also took notice of the Rams fans in attendance, as he captured pictures of multiple fans partying during a tailgate that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Grisak, the line to get in the tailgate stretched over 100 yards and was growing throughout the day.

IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect The news of the Rams fans showing out in full force comes after a large group of 49ers fans was seen lining up outside of the team bar at Melbourne Cricket Ground — the stadium that will hold Thursday night’s game.
With the two teams set to open the season against each other at a neutral site, there has been some controversy surrounding it, due to the Rams being the home team.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters earlier this week that he believes the Rams were let “off the hook” because of the invasion of 49ers that comes when the two teams play at Los Angeles’ home, SoFi Stadium.
San Francisco starting left tackle, Trent Williams, said he believes the reason why the NFL had this game played overseas was to “cover up some of the deficiencies to ticket sales on their end.”
The 49ers have also been taking advantage of trying to win over the average “neutral fan” over the last week, as they arrived to the country last week, while the Rams arrived on Thursday, with the intention to fly back home immediately after the game has been played.
While there has been so much that has gone into the last week for both teams, we have no idea if the Rams will actually be playing on a neutral site, or if the 49ers faithful indeed invaded Melbourne.
