Add The New York Post on Google Erika Kirk, the widow of slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, plans to keep a low profile on the one-year anniversary of her husband’s murder, according to insiders.
“Erika will mark the anniversary of Charlie’s death privately with her and Charlie’s two young children, their family, and close friends,” a family spokesperson said.
“She is so grateful for the continued outpouring of prayers, love, and support as she and her family remember and honor Charlie as the beloved husband and father he was.”

Instagram/mrserikakirk The spokesperson’s statement suggests Erika, 37, will not attend a Thursday night ceremony at Utah Valley University, the place where her husband was assassinated during one of his signature “Prove me wrong” campus events.
Erika, who was elected CEO of Turning Point USA in the days after her husband’s murder, attended President Trump’s speech at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas on Wednesday, during which he suggested she may be in the crowd again on Thursday.
“I think Erika is going to be here tomorrow, too,” Trump said.
Vice President JD Vance, who was friends with Charlie and remains close with the Kirk family, will deliver the keynote address at the convention Thursday night.
Trump described the shock “millions of Americans” felt upon learning of Charlie’s death and that some “sick people” celebrated it, in his convention speech.
