Add The California Post on Google Los Angeles Rams players already appear to be second-guessing the team’s decision to arrive in Melbourne, Australia, the day before they play the San Francisco 49ers.
Shortly after the team touched down from a 16-hour flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne, wide receiver Davante Adams told reporters he wishes they were able to spend more time with the fans.
“Obviously we would love to have the opportunity to connect with the fans out here a little bit more,” Adams said. “We did what we could, getting out there and interacting. I know Matthew [Stafford] had mentioned to it, getting out and trying some coffee and getting down the streets a little bit earlier.”

The philosophy behind the Rams’ decision to arrive the day before they play has been so that they can avoid jet lag, while the 49ers’ philosophy has focused on players’ bodies acclimating properly to a new environment.
We won’t find out who had the better approach until the two teams play, but one thing is for sure: The 49ers have been benefiting from being able to connect with the fans this past week.
49ers stars Christian McCaffrey and Nick Bosa, both admitted that they’ve been enjoying the hospitality that’s been provided to them. McCaffrey raved about the country’s unbelievable coffee.

“We did as much as we could with our travel schedule,” Adams said. “… But some things are out of our hands sometimes.”
The Rams and 49ers are set to kick off at 10:35 a.m. (local time), while the game will stream live on Netflix at 5:35 p.m. PT on Thursday.
