Bronwen James, now 30, was found guilty Thursday of having sex with the boy — whom she told she “loved” and had listed in her phone as “number 8,” the eighth person she’d had sex with, the UK Sun reported.
It then emerged that she had already pleaded guilty to nine charges related to two schoolgirls who were just 13 and 14 — with her abuse stretching over her time at multiple schools, the outlet reported.

She also pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with the older girl — once in the back of her car, the report said.
James also admitted making an indecent photo of a child as well as two charges of engaging in sexual communications with the girls.

“James manipulated her victims with calculated precision,” she added, describing how the teacher would “normalize the abuse” as part of a “sustained pattern of predatory behavior” against the children.
The gym teacher’s earlier pleas were only made public Thursday after she was found guilty of three counts of sexual activity with the 16-year-old boy — who had said one was while they were watching the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
That abuse with the boy, a student at her school in Southampton, Southwest England, started with them flirting and then chatting on Snapchat. One of the girls was then abused when James moved on to teach gym at a different school in Chippenham.
But even before then, she had received a written warning at a $73,000-a-year private school she taught at for exchanging text messages.
She had other sexual relationships at the schools she worked at, but with people who were not underage, it emerged.
James blamed her twisted behavior on her being so “immature” when she began teaching at just 21.
“I just don’t think I was ready for it. As my career progressed, I realised maybe I was seeking validation from the wrong people,” she said in her defense.
“I think I was a very lenient teacher, I was not strict,” she added.
She will be sentenced at Winchester Crown Court at a later date.
