7th US serviceman dead in Operation Epic Fury after being ‘seriously wounded’

A US servicemember wounded in an Iranian attack against US troops in Saudi Arabia has died of their injuries — the seventh American soldier killed in action during Operation Epic Fury.

The unidentified soldier was “seriously wounded” in the March 1 attack as Iran launched missiles and drones at US installations across the Middle East at the start of the conflict, according to CENTCOM.

The service member was seriously wounded at the scene of an attack on U.S. troops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1,” CENTCOM wrote on X Sunday afternoon.

The Command is withholding releasing the identity of the slain servicemember for 24 hours pending next-of-kin notification.

The sad news comes a day after NYPD officer and decorated Army veteran Sorffly Davius died after suffering a fatal health crisis while deployed in Kuwait with the National Guard.
