Add Page Six on Google The late Paul Walker could appear in the final installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise with the help of AI.
The late actor’s brother Cody — who along with brother Caleb stood in for Paul in “Furious 7” when he died in a 2013 car accident — teased the possibility in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
Cody said he personally would not be involved in the franchise’s 11th and final movie.
“My stance is, it’s what [Paul’s daughter] Meadow wants to see done; it’s her father,” Cody said. “I would not be interested in doing that again.”
Cody said he loved how Paul’s iconic character, Brian O’Connor, exited the franchise. Brian retired from the racing world to live a quiet life with Mia (played by Jordana Brewster) and their two children.
“They didn’t kill him off, they didn’t do something cheesy like that,” Cody noted. “It’s beautiful, [Brian] is off raising his kids. But if they want to do that, if Meadow would like to see that, they don’t need me or Caleb.”
He continued, “AI was not a thing back in 2014, so they could do that. There’s years of footage that was never used from these other ‘Fast’ films. They’re the best in the business, they can figure that out.”
“Fast & Furious” producer and star Vin Diesel teased the return of Paul’s character during his appearance at FuelFest in June 2025.

“The studio said to me, ‘Vin, can we please have the finale of ‘Fast & Furious’ [in] April 2027?'” Diesel told fans, per Entertainment Weekly. “I said, ‘Under three conditions.'”
“First, is to bring the franchise back to LA! The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing,” he continued. “The third thing was reuniting [Diesel’s character] Dom and Brian O’Connor.”
Diesel, 59, didn’t share how he would bring back Brian to the screen, though they used CGI to put together Brian’s sendoff in “Furious 7.”
Paul died midway through production of the 2015 movie. He was 40 years old.
Diesel has remained close with Meadow Walker, 27, since her father’s death. Last month, he detailed their close bond when she supported him at a special screening celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary in Los Angeles.
“She’s the first one to ever call me on Father’s Day,” Vin told Entertainment Tonight. “She’s the first one to show up to all the kids’ birthdays.”
“I’m so grateful to have her in my family’s life,” he added. “I would die for her.”
Diesel also choked back tears at the event when he paid tribute to Paul.
“Twenty-five years ago, I was sitting in this room, and I was sitting with Paul Walker … If any of you should ever have the blessing to have a brother like Pablo, it is the greatest gift God could bestow upon you,” he told the audience. “So watch this movie, and see where this eternal brotherhood started in every frame.”
