He’s standing on the first tee at Manhattan Woods, a pristine private golf club in the bucolic lower Hudson Valley in West Nyack where he’s a part owner, about to play a round of golf — something he enjoys as much as anything in life.
Strahan has a lot of balls in the air — outside of the Titleist Pro V1 he’s about to launch some 300 yards down the first fairway.
He’s recently flown back from Ireland, snuck in rounds of golf at Hamilton Farm and Bayonne in New Jersey, taped an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’’ shot a Fox TV promo with Tom Brady and finished up his day job duties at “Good Morning America’’ that morning.
