Add The New York Post on Google LSU has filled out its roster. But the two players who have generated headlines and buzz in the college football world for weeks are not the ones who are being added.
Lane Kiffin and LSU have added Aiden Anding and Gabriel Reliford to bring their roster to 105 players, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Tuesday night.
That means LSU cannot add Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris — the two players who spent time with NFL teams this year — to the roster for 2026.

IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect Wright and Harris were enrolled at the school but were not added ahead of LSU’s victory over Clemson and thus were not able to play in the game on Saturday.
Nevertheless, Thamel previously reported that Wright and Harris would be potential options to join the team at some point this season, as the team still had two spots to fill.
But with Anding and Reliford — who have previously played with the Tigers — joining the team, the active roster is full and no longer gives LSU the room to add Wright or Harris.
Wright and Harris scored a legal win at the end of last week that would allow them to play for what would be their fifth season in college football, even after spending time in the pro ranks this summer.
The SEC, on the same day, filed a lawsuit in Alabama against LSU and head coach Lane Kiffin, alleging the parties would be violating the conference’s First Amendment rights by going against conference rules and values.
The conference amended the suit on Tuesday, as it said SEC CEOs plan to meet on Thursday to decide whether LSU can continue to be a member institution. The SEC requested a temporary restraining in its amended filing to stop LSU from potentially blocking the meeting.

In the middle of all the roster drama, LSU won its first game under Lane Kiffin in a 51-10 rout over Clemson on Saturday.
LSU moved up from No. 11 to No. 8 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
