Radical California professors urge students to ‘get ready for war,’ attack ICE agent — before exposing his personal details

Add The California Post on Google Two radical California professors have sparked fury with blistering sermons demanding violence against ICE and for the Left to get “ready for war.”

Cal State LA Pan-African studies professor Melina Abdullah and UC Santa Barbara associate professor of history Butch Ware were both slammed for their aggressive comments in the last few days.

Abdullah, a BLM activist, spoke at the La Defensa del Pueblo Summit Sunday, ranting about an ICE agent’s hotel address during a segment on “guerrilla warfare” tactics.

She said: “The killer ICE agent, who we got on good authority is right down the road at the… his name is…, and we’ll show you a picture of his pig-a–.”

She continued: “Sometimes it’s just do this s–t. You see the devil right there, f–k him up.” She repeated her first statement, adding the exact address of the hotel.

“F— him up. F— him up. I’m sorry, I’m already on the motherf—king list.”

She told audience members to read a book by Black Guerrilla Family co-founder George Jackson, in order to study “guerrilla warfare.” Black Guerrilla Family is a black power prison gang associated with the Black Panthers.

The La Defensa del Pueblo Summit Abdullah was speaking at convened to “unite diverse sectors of society in defense of civil liberties, democratic rights, immigrant communities, and all people targeted by policies of repression and exclusion,” organizers wrote.

Article III Project founder Mike Davis, along with several other political figures, called for Abdullah to face repercussions for her comments. “This woman must face federal charges,” he wrote.

“Terroristic threats against a federal officer. If this animal isn’t in federal custody by the end of the week I don’t even know what we’re doing here. Frankly this is justification to raid the entire event and lock up all of them,” New York City councilwoman Vickie Paladino, a Republican, wrote on X.

“Very good question. Is there anyone at @CA_Dem @LADemocrats who will disavow such rhetoric? Remember ‘turning down the temperature’ after our @POTUS was shot and @charliekirk11 was assassinated? Sure would be nice if someone did that—maybe I missed it,” LA GOP chairwoman Roxanne Hoge wrote on X.

The Post understands the Los Angeles assistant attorney’s office is looking to see if any laws have been breached. When approached for comment, the office would not confirm an investigation has been launched.

A day before, former Green Party vice-presidential candidate Ware openly bragged about knowing about guns and told audience members to prepare for war.

“Y’all ain’t dreamed big enough yet,” he said at the Marxism Conference in Chicago last Saturday. “Some of these clickety-clack revolutionaries have never been in a f—ing gunfight, but some of us that grew up in the hood know what guns are like.”

He then continued, quoting Outkast’s Babylon song: “N—-, they made them gats they got some shit that’ll blow out our backs.”

“You are ready for a war in the streets. No, you ain’t. Y’all ain’t nowhere near ready for a war in the streets. You better get ready for both kinds of war, and if you stay ready, you ain’t got to get ready,” he concluded.

Ware calls himself a “historian of Africa and Islam” who recently ran for California governor this year but failed to land on the ballot.

At the same conference, the radical Ware called for Democrats to be “destroyed.” He also said New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed were “there to contain radicalism.”

The California Post reached out to Abdullah and Ware for comment.
