Add Page Six on Google Ana Navarro admitted she’s taking Mounjaro, which she credited for her drastic weight loss over the past few years.
“The View” host, 54, made the weight-loss drug admission on Tuesday’s episode of the talk show, while watching an old clip of herself dancing with Spanish singer and actress Charo.
“Those were all pre-Mounjaro,” she said. “We’ve lost the equivalent of a baby hippo on that stage.”
Back in June 2023, Navarro’s social media followers were convinced she’d been taking another weight-loss drug, Ozempic, after she posted a pic of herself on Instagram looking noticeably slimmer.
The political commenter replied to the speculation over her supposed usage of the GLP-1, crediting her slimmer figure to going to a wellness spa in Mexico with her girlfriends and changing her lifestyle.
“I spent time there learning to cook and eat healthier, reprogramming the way I think of my lifestyle, and being more active,” she said at the time, per People. “We did all sorts of exercise classes for hours a day. When we came back to Miami, we were determined to continue some of our healthy habits.”
Navarro also said she was working with a nutritionist and a medical supervisor after learning she was pre-diabetic.

“So it’s been a complete lifestyle change – except for the damn rosé and margaritas, which I can’t give up,” she shared.
“I am not equipped to give anyone advice or endorse any solution,” she added. “We all have to figure out what works for each of us. It is a daily struggle for me. I still really like tequila and staying in bed with my poodle…🤷🏻♀️.”
Navarro isn’t the only “The View” host on Mounjaro. In March 2024, both Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin shared on-air that they took the medication.
Goldberg, 70, said she decided to take it after her weight went up to almost 300 pounds after filming the 2022 movie “Till.”
“I had taken all those steroids, I was on all this stuff, and one of the things that’s helped me drop the weight is the Mounjaro –– that’s what I use,” Goldberg said on “The View.”
Hostin, 57, then chimed in and noted that she used Mounjaro after gaining 40 pounds during COVID.
The lawyer recalled getting “nasty emails” after her transformation telling her that she’s “too skinny” and “taking the drug away from diabetics,” but she had greater “shame” before doing so.
“There is shame when you’ve gained weight, and I have never experienced that kinda shame before,” she said.
