Benjamin Netanyahu furiously disputes bombshell new claim he was warned about Oct. 7 attacks

Add The New York Post on Google Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected new claims that he was directly warned that Hamas was planning a major operation before the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack, according to a new book.

UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed allegedly spoke to Netanyahu 10 days before the attack, warning the ally state that terror mastermind Yahya Sinwar was planning an operation, the Israeli Haaretz newspaper reported, citing the book.

Netanyahu’s office slammed the claims, made in a book authored by Israeli journalists, as an “absolute lie,” adding that such a phone call never happened.

The allegations come just weeks before Israel is set to hold its national elections, with Netanyahu facing increased pressure over the wars in Gaza and Iran.
