On Monday, one day before Tiafoe faces off against fellow American Alex Michelsen in a U.S. Open quarterfinal, Broomfield shared a video to her 113,000 Instagram followers that started with her lying in bed.

BFA.com / BACKGRID She looked at Tiafoe, who was standing in the doorway of their hotel room in full tennis attire, while lip syncing a voiceover that said, “Bye, Sophia, see you later! Have a good day, Sophia!”
Broomfield had a wry smile on her face and pointed at Tiafoe, while the U.S. Open’s No. 11 seed shook his head and sulked away. The post was captioned, “saying goodbye to my man knowing he has to play at the us open for five hours meanwhile i have a 45 second cutesy grwm to edit.”

Creating content for a living is not without its difficulties. But Broomfield clearly isn’t complaining about her schedule compared to that of her boyfriend, especially during one of the biggest tennis tournaments of the year.
