The Bills enter this NFL season with the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl despite the fact that they haven’t won the AFC since 1994.
Allen’s culpability has been debated ad nauseam, but no one can debate the fact that Allen has carried his team in a way few quarterbacks could over the past few seasons.
This season will be his first without former head coach Sean McDermott, but with Joe Brady going from coordinator to the man in charge, the offensive continuity should carry over for the Bills. In fact, there’s good reason to believe their offense can be even better this season.
The Bills traded for a much-needed No. 1 wide receiver in the offseason and added D.J. Moore to a receiving corps that sorely needs an upgrade.

Tight end Dalton Kincaid led the group while Khalil Shakir, Dawson Knox and Keon Coleman all had four touchdowns.
Enter Moore, who is coming off the worst season of his career with the Bears after landing in Chicago with plenty of fanfare. Even in a down year, Moore’s six receiving touchdowns would have been the most among the Bills’ pass catchers last season.

Sportsbooks seem skeptical of Allen’s ability to score through the air this season. His passing touchdown prop is listed at 24.5 after he finished with 25 touchdowns last season. That suggests that Moore’s addition would have little to no impact on the Bills’ ability to produce touchdowns via the passing game.
Given Moore’s ceiling and his past with Brady when the two were in Carolina together, I expect Allen to see a boost in the passing game. I’ll take the over on this prop.
