Three people have been arrested after a car crashed into a group of cyclists, killing two riders.
Kent Police said a white Ford Focus was travelling along Sole Street in Cobham near Gravesend just before 07:50 BST on Sunday when it was involved in a collision with three cyclists.
Two of the cyclists - a man in his 60s and woman in her 50s - were confirmed dead by emergency services on the scene, the force added.
A third cyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment with minor injuries, according to officers.
Two men aged 20 and 21 were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A 19-year-old woman was also detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Kent Police said the road was closed while an investigation took place.
The force is now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the car or cyclists before the crash to contact them.
