While we’re excited to spend countless Saturdays rooting for our favorite squads, streaming college football games can be a little confusing. Week 1 games air on all the traditional spots (FOX, ABC, ESPN), but you can also watch various matchups on TNT, Disney+ ACCN, FS1, ESPNU, The CW, and, of course, the Big Ten Network.

A 24-hour-a-day network, BTN televises “more than 550 events and streams approximately 1,700 more events each year.” In Week 1, Ohio State, Iowa, Maryland, and Northwestern will all have games on the Big Ten Network.

How can you watch BTN? Does YouTube TV offer Big Ten Network? Here’s everything you need to know.

If you have a valid cable login, the Big Ten Network is available through a variety of cable providers (Optimum, Dish, Verizon, Spectrum) as well as through a subscription to numerous over-the-top streamers, including Sling TV, YouTube TV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV, and FOX One.

BTN is included in YouTube TV’s Base plan ($59.99/month for the first three months, $82.99/month after) as well as the Sports plan ($44.99/month for the first six months, $64.99/month after).

The Big Ten Network website has a helpful channel finder guide.

Yes! The Big Ten Network is included in DIRECTV’s Choice ($94.99/month), Ultimate ($124.99/month), and Premier ($169.99/month) packages. The streamer is currently offering a discount for the first month, with streamers saving $30 on Choice ($64.99), $35 on Ultimate ($89.99), and $40 on Premier ($129.99).

The only way to watch shows airing live without cable is by using a live TV streaming service. Our favorite is DIRECTV, which comes with a five-day free trial before payment begins.

DIRECTV offers a number of flexible subscription options, including Genre Packs, so you can best choose which streaming plans fit your needs and budget. Packs start at $19.99/month.

DIRECTV’s “My Sports” package also includes BTN ($49.99 for the first month, $64.99/month after).

BTN is available via Fubo’s Pro ($63.99/month for the first month, $88.99/month after) and Elite packages ($68.99/month for the first month, $98.99/month after). Fubo’s Sports and News package ($54.99/month for the first month, $64.99/month after) also offers the Big Ten Network.

Does BIG+ Air College Football Games? Nope. A subscription-based streaming service, B1G+ offers coverage of more than 1,700 non-televised Big Ten events, but football games are not available on the streamer.
