Amal Clooney glitters in metallic fringe and diamonds for celebratory dinner with George

The 48-year-old is in Italy with husband George Clooney for the Venice Film Festival 2026, spotted on Thursday night at a celebratory dinner in a metallic minidress and chandelier earrings.

The couple were snapped by paparazzi on their way in and out of Ristorante da Ivo — not only a favorite of the pair, but also the location of George’s bachelor party in 2014. The couple will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary later this month and even had dinner at the venue where they married earlier this week.

Amal chose a flashy strapless Caroline’s Couture look that boasted all-over aqua and silver fringe detail that swished as she moved.

She doubled down on sparkle, adding a pair of statement diamond earrings and metallic clutch in one hand. She slipped into matching metallic heeled sandals as well.

George, meanwhile, held her hand as she exited the water taxi, with the “Oceans 11” actor wearing a deep navy suit and black shirt.

Though the pair frequents the Venice Film Festival, this year was an extra-special one, as George was honored with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement on Wednesday night.

For the epic evening, Amal slipped into a black Haider Ackermann column dress with $375,000 worth of diamond Cartier jewelry.

George concluded his acceptance speech on Wednesday with a glimpse at their celebration plans: “We’re going to go find a fun place to have dinner, my wife and I,” he said, adding, “she’s going to be wearing a very nice dress so we’ll have to be careful where we go.”
