Add The California Post on Google Four people are dead after an overpacked compact car veered off the road, struck a pole and sent passengers hurling through the air.
Six people were crammed into a Hyundai Veloster, a hatchback with seating for five, when it crashed on Highway 2, a scenic mountain highway, near Flume Canyon Drive in Wrightwood, according to authorities.
Four people died in the crash, several of the bodies were thrown from the Hyundai. Two more people were hospitalized in critical condition — one of them was allegedly wearing a seatbelt, according to NBC LA.
