Add Page Six on Google Carla Jeffery’s family denied allegations that the late actress used substances ahead of her tragic death at the age of 33.
“She did not do drugs,” her family told TMZ Thursday.
The Disney star’s family said there was no foul play involved and that police are not investigating.
Additionally, Jeffery’s cause of death has yet to be revealed.
Until the autopsy report is released, the “Zombies” star’s family will reportedly not provide details surrounding her passing to avoid the spread of misinformation.
Jeffery’s death on Tuesday was confirmed by her talent agency, Alexanders Talent Management, via an emotional Instagram tribute.
“Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery,” the agency wrote.
“For more than 20 years, Carla was part of the Alexanders Talent Management family, and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege.”
The management team shared that they will remember and miss Jeffery’s “infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went.”

Jeffery was best known for her role as Bree in the Disney “Zombies” franchise.
She made her debut in the 2018 movie alongside actors Milo Manhein, Meg Donnelly, Trevor Tordjman and Kylee Russell.
The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” alum reprised her role in the 2020 sequel and the third film in 2023.
She also voiced Bree in 2024’s “Zombies: The Re-Animated Series.”
A year before her death, Jeffery emotionally opened up during an appearance on “The Tokens Podcast” about being an “inspiration” to women who see themselves in her.
“I’m the token black girl, and I’m the big black girl,” she said. “I can show it just for all my black girls, but also for the thick ones, and that’s what I wanted to try to represent as I was going forward.”
