Add The New York Post on Google A Tennessee cheerleader has been arrested for domestic violence — and then for riding in a car with someone who had a protective order against her.
Kailyn Hasty, a freshman at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), was first arrested on Thursday last week for allegedly assaulting someone at an apartment complex in Murfreesboro, police said.
Officials did not give details on the assault — nor identify the victim — but said the cheerleader was booked into jail as the primary aggressor.

Hasty was a passenger in a car pulled over by cops for a routine traffic stop in Murfreesboro just before midnight Monday — with the traffic cop then finding out the driver had a protective order against her, police said.
She was arrested for the second time in days, this time for violating the protection order. She was booked and then released from the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
Hasty graduated from Tullahoma High School in Middle Tennessee in the spring, according to social media.

“Her actions are not a reflection of our values as a University or Spirit Program,” cheer team leader Brooke Legens told the college student newspaper, MTSU Sidelines.
“MTSU Spirit nor I or any of our coaches condone violence in any type and it will never be tolerated. Our athletes work hard year-round to represent our University at the highest level, and we will continue to do so.”
