September marks the start of a new TV season, but there was never really any shortage of TV to be watched, anyway.
In order to help you cut through the noise, we’ve curated the perfect September watchlist — all of which can be streamed with just one Hulu subscription.
If you’re new to Hulu, the basic (with ads) price is $11.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month. Everything listed below can be streamed with either of Hulu’s plans.
Before we dive into the September premieres, here’s your reminder to check out Hulu‘s August releases, if you’ve been saving them for the perfect time.
“Furious” just aired its first season finale on Aug. 31 and with the promise of more to come, you want to get in on this show while it’s still having a moment. Speaking of having a moment, “Adults” Season 2 is streaming in full and trust us, once you hit play on episode one, you aren’t going to want to stop until you’ve watched all eight.
Russ Holliday Chad Powers is back! The Glen Powell-led sports comedy drops its entire second season today, Sept. 3 — just in time for college football. Late in Season 1, a few key characters became aware of Russ’ deception. Now, in Season 2, he must keep up the Chad Powers persona while confronting the consequences of his actions.
FX and Hulu are returning to the world of “Snowfall” with the premiere of spin-off “The Drop” on Sept. 8. Set in ‘90s Los Angeles, the new series follows “Snowfall” characters Wanda (Gail Bean) and Leon (Isaiah John) as they fight to take West Coast rap mainstream while gang wars erupt and record labels move to exploit hip hop culture for their own gain.
We’re once again asking if #MomTok can survive this. After the media firestorm that followed Taylor Frankie Paul’s canceled “Bachelorette” season, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is returning for a five-episode fifth season. With divorces, Broadway debuts and rumors spiraling, #MomTok’s sisterhood starts to crack.
Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Jessi Draper, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews and Miranda Hope are all set to return. Season 5 will be Leavitt’s last on the show.
Some of FX and Hulu‘s August originals will come to an end this month. It’s the perfect time to catch up on “The Shards” ahead of its Sept. 9 finale; “Futurama” Season 14 wraps up on Sept. 28; and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” drops new episodes weekly every Monday in September.
While you won’t be able to watch “Dancing with the Stars” Season 35 live with just a Hulu subscription, new episodes come to Hulu next day. You’ll be able to stream the Sept. 15 season premiere on Hulu Sept. 16. The star-studded cast for Season 35 includes Julia Stiles, Jenna Dewan, Harry Shum Jr. and reality darlings Ciara Miller and Maura Higgins.
Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story” returns for its unlucky 13th season and they’re really leaning in. The season is subtitled “13” and will feature 13 episodes; all of the confirmed episode titles also reference the number in some way.
The large ensemble cast is full of “AHS” alums reprising their roles from past seasons, including Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode; Evan Peters as Tate Langdon, James Patrick March and Kai Anderson; Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau; and Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery.
