The eight-seat diner became an Instagrammable hotspot known for its banana chocolate chip pancakes. Babe's Diner A viral Hamptons pancake joint is heading to LA as a pop-up around town, we hear.
Babe’s, an eight-seat diner off Main Street in Sag Harbor, became an Instagram-able hotspot known for its banana chocolate chip pancakes — and its clientele from Justin Bieber and Alex Earle to Meg Ryan, Knicks and Yankees players, and the cast of “Love Island.”
If you couldn’t make it out East over the summer, you can see what all the fuss was about when Babe’s arrives in town from Sept. 10-13.
Membership-only app Dorsia — named after that fictional resto in “American Psycho” — which secures hard-to-get-reservations, is bringing Babe’s west. The place will serve different flavors of its popular pancakes and special breakfast dishes at Mish Delicatessen, Cookbook, Uncle Paulie’s and LEORA. (The pop-ups are in different areas around town so you or your friends don’t have to schlep too much.)
We hear that the special dishes include: “The Zeidenstein” (scrambled eggs, pastrami, latke and New School American cheese between two classic pancakes with maple syrup), “Cacio e Pepe Baconeggandcheese,” “Jerusalem Bagel with French butter, blueberry compote and Maldon salt” and “Raspberry Jam Pancakes.”
