Add Page Six on Google Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s new Cleveland neighbors are eager for a celebrity sighting — but tell us the superstar couple can expect something rare in their world: privacy.
Swift and Kelce’s new $5.3 million, 21,000-square-foot, lakefront home is in Bratenahl, a ritzy Cleveland suburb where the pair will have neighbors right next door and plenty of fans nearby.
Still, an area source tells us there’s little concern that the pair will be hounded.
“They will have privacy,” the source says. “[Cleveland Cavaliers mega star] LeBron James lived here in his prime and nobody bothered. It’s the Cleveland charm.”
That doesn’t mean locals aren’t excited about having Swift in the neighborhood.
“Everybody would love their grandkids to spot her at Shoreby Club,” the source says, referring to a nearby yacht club.
But the bigger question among neighbors is how much time Swift and Kelce — who own multiple homes— will actually spend at the new property.
“People are excited, but they want to know if they will really spend time there,” says the source, who wondered if there will be an influx of celebs for parties like her famed 4th of July bash, which has drawn stars like Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and model Cara Delevingne.
There’s also plenty of curiosity about what the couple will do with the house itself.
The source describes it as a “modest old home” for the upscale area and wondered whether Swift and Kelce will undertake a major renovation to make it their own, despite the listing touting its “extensive renovation.”
The Wall Street Journal reported that Kelce closed on the home in March — four months before he and Swift exchanged vows inside New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
According to the listing, the eight bedroom, 11 bathroom, also features a pool, game room, home theater, billiards room, bar, and a fitness center.
In a statement released through their team to WSJ, David Ayers and Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland — who represented both sides of the transaction — said: “We’re thrilled for the new owners and so excited for Cleveland.”
One reason for the purchase could be convenience. Burke Lakefront Airport is just seven minutes away and is primarily used by private jets, we’re told.
The area is no stranger to bold faced names. Cleveland Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam live nearby, while Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson previously lived in the area.
Kelce has deep ties, growing up nearby in Cleveland Heights.
