When speaking to Fox News Digital following her return, Electra encouraged women not to "let anyone tell you you're too old," adding, "that's a myth."

"You are living your own life. You're not living your life for other people," she said. "And honestly, if you're manifesting that, that's what it's going to be for you. You have to change your thought process. You have to start telling yourself every morning, 'I'm beautiful. I'm good enough. I look great. I'm pretty.' Whatever it is that you want to be, you can be that."

After making her Playboy debut in 1996, the "Baywatch" actress returned a few more times, gracing the cover in 2000, 2003 and 2009 for the magazine's 55th anniversary issue.

Although she is one of the magazine's most iconic cover stars, she told Fox News Digital she didn't think she would appear in the magazine again, but that she is "happy" she did.

"I just thought, 'I'm going to go with the flow of life,'" she laughed. "But look, I figured I'm already posting sexy stuff on my Instagram page. So why not? Let's go for it. Let's do it. And it's Playboy. Playboy is so iconic. So let's do it. And I'm so happy that I did."

In addition to posing for the magazine, Electra also answered a series of fan questions, and gave her insight into what it's like dating as you get older.

She assured women looking to date after a divorce, that if they are in their "'40s, you’re still so young" and that they "need to go have fun, keep having fun and live your life," while also letting men know what they should and shouldn't do when trying to get the attention of a middle-aged woman.

"We do appreciate texting or calling appropriately," she said. "What you really need to do is make sure you don’t call her and say, ‘Hey, come meet me at a bar right now,’ when it’s midnight. That’s a huge no-no."
