Unhinged man’s wild night out in West Hollywood goes way too far as cops, fire crews called

Add The California Post on Google A wild night out in West Hollywood spiraled out of control when an unhinged man drew a full emergency response from police, firefighters and paramedics.

Nighttime footage captured the barefoot man in shorts, rolling and crawling on Santa Monica Boulevard while emergency crews responded to the scene.

“Last night someone’s friend was roaming WeHo blasted with no shoes on,” read one account of the chaotic scene.

At one dramatic moment, the man can be seen hurling himself to the ground in front of officers trying to get the situation under control.

Eventually, officers are shown seizing him by his arms and legs, hauling him away as he thrashes and sheds pieces of clothing along the way.

The account that posted footage of the incident said that nearly six people were ultimately needed to physically restrain the man.

“Last night someone’s friend was roaming WeHo blasted with no shoes on. First one cop shows, and then two.. This guy starts swinging on them,” the caption reads.

The account said paramedics and firefighters were then called to the scene and that nearly six people were ultimately needed to physically restrain him.

The man was eventually medically sedated, according to the account, but allegedly continued to fight and was later seen with a spit bag over his head.

“All I could think was, ‘This is someone’s friend and no one knows he is having the night of a lifetime,’” the caption reads.

The video shows several first responders surrounding the man as the incident continues amid flashing emergency lights.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the incident.
