Over the past week, Israel has issued evacuation warnings before carrying out heavy strikes on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.Adéa Guillot, spokesperson for CARE France, says there are no precise figures for the total number of displaced people. Estimates range from 300,000 to 700,000, with women and girls among the most vulnerable. “The priority is to deliver humanitarian aid on the ground and provide financial support through trusted donations,” Guillot adds.
