Add The New York Post on Google A 21-year-old man was stabbed just steps away from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan on Monday and the knifeman is on the lam, police said.
The stabbing between the two iconic Big Apple sites broke out after the victim got into a dispute with an unknown individual at the intersection of West 50th Street and Fifth Avenue around 7:30 p.m. in Midtown, the NYPD said.
The heated argument boiled over when the assailant punctured the man in the arm and torso, police said.
The jabber then hopped into a black BMW and disappeared into the wind, cops said.
EMS rushed to the scene and took the man to Bellevue Hospital, where he’s in stable condition.
Cops said there are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The attack happened just hours after Pamela Cisneros, 49, randomly knifed a man and a woman less than a block away at West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue, police said.
Cisneros killed the 32-year-old woman and critically injured the 68-year-old man in a 20-second span before she was shot and killed by police, cops said.
