Add The New York Post on Google A NYPD manhunt ended Saturday morning when cops arrested a violent parolee wanted for two murders committed during a horrifying 48-hour stickup spree across New York City, police said.
Jesus Acosta, 31, was named as the suspect in a shooting at a Bronx deli Tuesday morning and another one at a Brooklyn eatery early Sunday, cops said.
His arrest came after FBI officials announced a $25,000 reward for his capture in connection to the murders of wings spot employee MD Yousef, 44, and bodega patron Tayvon Shuler, 33, over two bloody nights.
The United Bodegas of America offered an additional $10,000 for Acosta’s arrest.
Acosta was out on parole since April after doing 10 years behind bars in state prison for assault and criminal possession of a weapon, state prison records show.
“Thank you to our cops, detectives, and New Yorkers for their work on locating him,” the NYPD said in a statement announcing Acosta’s arrest.
