Add Page Six on Google Sarah Ferguson is “imminently” returning to the UK, just days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the country in a stunning change of heart.
The former Duchess of York, 66, will be renting a six bedroom, three bathroom residence in the Home Counties outside London, with a “granny annexe,” according to the Sun.
A source told the outlet that she has “had her eyes on a return for some time but it takes time to find the right new house.”
The insider noted to the outlet that she “hasn’t had to worry about accommodation for 20 years,” as she continued to live with ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor at Royal Lodge — until he was officially stripped of his royal titles and ordered to vacate the property amid the controversy surrounding his ties to the late Jeffrey Epstein.
“Now’s the right time to get back to her life,” the source shared. “With everyone looking out for Harry and Meghan she thought she could slip back under the radar after seven months away.”
The outlet reported that some of Fergie’s belongings were picked up from Andrew’s home in Sandringham this week, and that she will “likely” be moved in to her new residence by Monday.
People reported that Ferguson will be renting the home for around $8,000 per month.
She was last spotted in public back in April, with the Sun sharing photos of the former duchess spending time in the Australian Alps.

A rep for Ferguson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Friday afternoon.
The move comes amid an ongoing investigation into her ex-husband, who was arrested on his 66th birthday in February following the release of sordid documents revealing the former couples’ links to the late convicted sex offender.
Andrew — who has repeatedly denied wrongdoing in the case and has not been charged — is under suspicion of having shared confidential information with Epstein.
Page Six confirmed on Aug. 19 that Ferguson’s relatives, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — who famously fled the UK in 2020 for a life in Southern California — would be returning to the country for an “extended period.”
King Charles III was informed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be returning to Britain, an insider told Page Six, adding that the 77-year-old monarch — who announced his cancer diagnosis in 2024 — “is the reason they are moving back.”
But while the King “looks forward” to having newfound proximity to Harry and his family, he’s said to have been clear that they remain “non-working members” of the royal family.
Markle, Prince Harry and their children — who are said to have benefitted from the support of British hedge fund billionaire Ian Wace in the move — reportedly landed at Birmingham airport after a private flight from California on Wednesday.
Their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are set to start school next week.
