Add Page Six on Google Tony Romo is “taking full responsibility” for allegedly driving while intoxicated — and teasing a possible return to CBS Sports.
After the network’s lead NFL game analyst was placed “on leave” following last month’s OWI arrest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, his rep told TMZ on Thursday that they are “communicating with CBS about next steps.”
The rep made sure to stress that “Tony accepts full responsibility for his actions and has taken proactive steps to ensure that this isolated civil matter is properly resolved,” adding, “We are working with local authorities to bring this matter to a close.”

On July 23, the retired NFL star was pulled over by a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office deputy for “unsafe passing” while he was driving southbound I-43 on the high-rise bridge.
The 46-year-old seemed confused by the traffic stop and said he was on his way to his grandparents’ house after spending the day at a golf course.
