Christian McCaffrey’s wife Olivia gives George Kittle new role in daughter’s life

Add The California Post on Google Before 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey and his wife, Olivia Culpo, have their second child together, they wanted to honor another 49ers star with a role in their first child’s life.

This was shown with an Instagram Story post that Olivia made on Thursday morning, before the 49ers face the Raiders in a preseason game. It showed McCaffrey, George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk posing together, while McCaffrey is holding his and Culpo’s daughter, Colette.

“The Godfathers 🤌,” the post is captioned.

Juszczyk was already a godfather to Colette McCaffrey, which was shown when he said, “My second goddaughter, I’m truly honored beyond belief,” in an Instagram comment when Culpo and McCaffrey announced they were pregnant with their second child in May.

Kittle, on the other hand, hadn’t been called Colette’s godfather publicly before this post, which suggests that McCaffrey and Culpo either recently decided to give him that honor or are just telling the world about it now.

There’s a chance that Culpo could be calling Kittle and Juszczyk “Godfathers” in a tongue-in-cheek way. But Juszczyk already saying he was Colette’s godfather in the past suggests this is accurate.

And both 49ers stars being given this honor isn’t necessarily a surprise, as those who have followed them and their wives in recent years know how close this group is with each other.

McCaffrey and Culpo’s second child is expected to be born before the end of 2026. It sound like Juszczyk has already been named its godfather, and perhaps Kittle will, too.
