Add Page Six on Google Jake Reiner gave his first interview about losing his parents Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, eight months after their deaths — and brother Nick Reiner’s arrest for the murders.
“I physically lost my parents. And then Nick was arrested,” the 35-year-old said in a Thursday preview on “Good Morning America” of his KABC-TV sit-down.
“And now it’s me and Romy,” he continued, referencing his 28-year-old sister.
“It’s been eight months,” Jake noted. “It feels like eight years at the same time. And it also feels like eight minutes.”
He explained, “Every moment that I wake up, I’m reminded of my reality.”
Jake recalled the moment he learned of Rob and Michele’s December 2025 slayings via phone call, saying, “Romy told me our dad was dead and then she said, ‘I can’t find mom.'”
