Garrett Michael Highlander, 20, of Morgantown, was arrested on Friday after West Virginia State Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a man “boasting of his large cache of ‘child porn.’”
The Discord app is seen on a smartphone screen. VSzili – stock.adobe.com Highlander allegedly posted frequently on Discord with usernames like “MrChildPorn” or “MrToxix” while spreading around his sicko stash.
Other users on the messaging boards complained that Highlander “would not stop sending” explicit images of minors to them via direct message, according to a criminal complaint viewed by WBOY.
He told state troopers that he would engage in this behavior because “he was ‘trolling’ and ‘rage-baiting’ because he found it highly amusing.”

Highlander has been charged with possession of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
The West Virginia State Police did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
