Add The California Post on Google The bodycam footage from the arrest of 49ers owner Jed York was released Wednesday.
York was pulled over by police in a rental vehicle when he tried to meet with a prostitute at an Ohio trailer park. He allegedly arranged on a known prostitution website to have sex with a woman for $160.
York was dressed in a Yankees T-shirt, basketball shorts, tennis shoes and Nike ankle socks when he was arrested by police. There are five Major League Baseball teams that reside in California: the Giants, Dodgers, Padres, Angels and Athletics.
But York opted to rep an East Coast team — while he is the principal owner of a storied West Coast team — when he was stunned by police at an Ohio trailer park Sunday.
The 49ers owner is under review by the NFL in regards to the league’s personal conduct policy, which pertains to players as well as league personnel. York could face additional discipline from the NFL.
On Monday, York cut a plea deal with prosecutors after he was booked into the county jail on two separate charges. He pleaded no contest to a charge of disorderly conduct as well as one count of possessing criminal tools.

The 46-year-old became the 49ers’ principal owner in 2024 but has served as the team’s CEO since 2008. York was not present at the NFL owners meetings Wednesday in Atlanta.
