Unrivaled hits staggering $650 million valuation on heels of sold-out tour

Add The New York Post on Google Unrivaled’s value continues to skyrocket as it prepares for its third season.

The 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, co-founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, has reached a $650 million valuation following its latest capital raise, nearly doubling its $340 million valuation from last September.

New investors include self-made billionaire Jenny Just and Ten Pillars Sports Fund.

Stewart and Collier launched Unrivaled in January 2025 to provide WNBA players with a domestic offseason opportunity.

Unrivaled continues to build out its Miami campus and bolster its facilities and resources. Last season, the league took the show on the road, pulling off sold-out tour stops in Philadelphia and Brooklyn.

“With this raise, the incredible demand we’ve seen from our fans is being matched by investors who believe just as strongly in where Unrivaled can go,” Stewart said in a statement exclusively provided to The Post. “Our fans showed us that belief firsthand last season, selling out games at home in Miami and on the road in Philadelphia, with of course Brooklyn showing up exactly the way I’ve seen and have come to expect. Our investors are demonstrating that same conviction through this commitment. Having that level of support on both sides puts Unrivaled in a strong position to build on our success into next season and beyond.”

Player ownership is a pillar of Unrivaled’s compensation structure. The league has given participating players equity in the business alongside compensation, which allows players to align with the league’s long-term growth and success.

Unrivaled CEO Alex Bazzell said participating athletes remain the league’s largest shareholder group.

“This raise is fueling the next stage of Unrivaled’s growth and expanding our impact across the women’s basketball ecosystem,” Bazzell said in a statement. “Unrivaled was built by players and for players, and their ownership, leadership and ambition continue to drive the league forward and define a new model for the sport.”

Unrivaled will face new competition this offseason with Project B planning to launch in December.

Project B has already added some top WNBA talent, including Alyssa Thomas, Azzi Fudd, Jonquel Jones and Kelsey Mitchell.
