Dodgers, arch-rival Giants jump into bed together ‘betting’ on the future of sports

Add The California Post on Google The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants are two of five Major League Baseball teams partnering with Kalshi.

The multi-year brand deals were announced Tuesday.

Kalshi has also partnered with the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox and the San Diego Padres, making the trading exchange the official and exclusive prediction market partner of one-sixth of MLB teams.

The deals include Kalshi featured on in-stadium signage, in social media posts and more. The Dodgers partnership includes the Gold Glove Bar at Dodger Stadium being renamed to the Kalshi 435 Club.

According to Kalshi, baseball-related trading volume on its platform is 36 times higher than it was a year ago.

“The idea is that fans are already engaging with their favorite teams on Kalshi, so it only makes sense to extend that fandom to some of the most beloved baseball teams in America,” Kalshi’s head of sports partnerships, Adam Barrick, said in a press release.

Lorenzo Sciarrino, SVP of global partnerships for the Dodgers, also discussed the new Kalshi deal via a press release.

“The Dodgers are always looking for innovative ways to connect with our fans, and Kalshi represents an exciting new category,” Sciarrino said.

Giants Senior Vice President of Partnerships Steve Tseng spoke on behalf of the franchise.

“We’re pleased to welcome Kalshi to the Giants family,” Tseng said. “We are focused on creating unmatched experiences for our fans, and are excited to work with Kalshi to bring this goal to life.”

The new MLB partnerships come less than a month after the Yankees signed a deal with Polymarket through the remainder of the 2026 season.

The Mets became the first MLB team to sign a prediction-market partnership, a multi-year agreement with Novig.
