Raising Cane’s billionaire celebrates chain’s 30th anniversary with his own pop-up museum, gifts $20M to Leo DiCaprio charity

Todd Graves will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his chicken finger restaurant, Raising Cane's, this week. Getty Images for Raising Cane's Chicken finger billionaire Todd Graves is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his Raising Cane’s empire by creating a pop-up museum.

The mogul — who’s Leo DiCaprio’s neighbor in LA and attended the Oscars with the “Titanic” star — will launch the pop-up “museum” next to his chain’s original location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The free-of-charge spot will celebrate Graves’ self-made journey from obscure entrepreneur to owner of 1,000 restaurants with over 95,000 staffers.

The attraction will house artifacts from Graves’ past — including “The Margaret Mae,” an actual 1979 boat Graves worked aboard fishing for sockeye salmon in Alaska to help earn the chicken scratch to fund his dreams.

Also on the site is the apartment where Graves lived when he was launching his first eatery — and where he “moved his bed into the living room so he could see the restaurant and its drive-thru from his window.”

He’s now purchased the building — and recreated his apartment down to the ’90s details, including his brown paisley comforter, VHS tapes, old-school computer, cereal boxes atop the fridge and more. The space will even have guided tours.

The anniversary is Aug. 28. Graves is also creating special merch and donating millions to charity for the occasion, including a $20 million pledge to DiCaprio’s eco org Re:wild and another $30 million over 10 years to pet welfare groups.

The pop-up museum runs for a month starting today.

We previously reported that he dropped up to $100 million entertaining his very famous friends during the FIFA World Cup.
