Add The California Post on Google Bryson DeChambeau seemed to confirm what the entire golf world already knows to be true: LIV Golf is on its last legs.
DeChambeau made an Instagram post on Monday afternoon that showed various photos of his best moments with LIV Golf, including him hoisting many of the trophies he won during his time with the league.
“It was a good run,” the post was captioned.
View this post on Instagram It’s no secret that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which was LIV Golf’s primary means of financial support, has withdrawn its financial guarantees beyond the 2026 season.
This is largely owed to the lack of interest and ratings in LIV Golf, as it failed to generate even a fraction of the interest that the PGA Tour sustains on an annual basis.

Getty Images The most recent indication of LIV Golf’s impending peril arrived when the league announced last week that its team championship event, slated for the end of August in Michigan, was canceled. This made it so the tournament at The Club at Chatham Hills in Indianapolis this past weekend crowned LIV’s individual and team champs.
Jon Rahm was the individual points champion, and his team, Legion XIII, were also the team season winners. DeChambeau finished in second place in individual points.

Getty Images If this is indeed the end of LIV Golf, DeChambeau produced an impressive four-season run. He won five individual LIV Golf titles and his team, Crushers GC, won 11 regular-season tournament titles, which was the most in league history.
DeChambeau also earned over $15 million in the 2026 season and pocketed over $180 million throughout his LIV Golf tenure, largely because of the staggering estimated $125 million signing bonus he had back in 2022.
