Tornado near Carcassonne in France injures dozens and damages homes

Add The New York Post on Google A tornado damaged about 100 homes and injured dozens of people in southern France on Monday, while thousands of homes were left without power.

The storm struck Pomas, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, late Monday afternoon, mostly damaging roofs, according to the local prefecture.

About 2,800 households were still without electricity on Monday evening, while several roads were blocked.
