Niners owner Jed York was just caught for trying to pay just $140 for sex in a Ohio trailer park Sunday. This has been the biggest story in the sports world, largely because the initial belief was that York was still married. It has since come out that he filed for divorce from his wife, Danielle Belluomini, just months before the arrest.

Which is why it was hilarious to see the team’s new T-shirts that were recently released on NFL Shop.
The shirts show Stinky Pete, the villain from “Toy Story 2”, who is a pickaxe-wielding gold prospector that was meant to be a cartoon depiction of the Gold Rush spirit that the 49ers’ name comes from.
Under Stinky Pete on the shirt is written, “faithful,” a reference to the 49ers’ faithful.

Then again, they have reason to be optimistic about the upcoming season, given that several of the team’s top stars appear to be healthy and trending toward playing in Week 1 of the regular season, which is against the Los Angeles Rams in Australia.
It’ll be interesting to see how many 49ers fans are wearing these Stinky Pete “faithful” shirts at Levi’s Stadium this season.
